Terms of Service

Last updated: 27 October 2026

1. Who you are contracting with

These Terms of Service ("Terms") are an agreement between you and [Legal business name] ("we", "us", "our"), the operator of the Qartalog service ("Qartalog" or the "Service"). By creating an account or continuing to use the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you use Qartalog on behalf of a business, you confirm you have authority to bind that business to these Terms.

2. The Service

Qartalog is a subscription software service that lets brands, wholesalers, and sales agencies publish live, branded B2B product catalogs, share private client lookbooks, manage client and sales-rep accounts, and receive quote requests from their clients. Qartalog is a catalog and quoting tool — it does not process payments between you and your clients, and quote amounts are estimates only.

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to access and use the Service within the limits of the subscription plan you selected. You must not reverse engineer the Service, resell or redistribute access to it, or circumvent plan limits or other technical restrictions.

3. Your account and content

You must provide accurate information when registering and keep it up to date. You are responsible for keeping your account credentials confidential and for all activity under your account, including activity by team members and client accounts you invite.

You retain ownership of the content you upload (product images, descriptions, pricing, branding). You grant us a limited licence to host, process, and display that content solely to provide the Service to you and your invited clients. You confirm you have the rights to any content you upload.

4. Acceptable use

You must not misuse the Service. This includes, without limitation:

  • Using the Service for any unlawful purpose, or to sell unlawful products;
  • Fraud, spam, phishing, or deceptive practices;
  • Uploading content that infringes intellectual property or other rights of third parties;
  • Introducing malware, probing or testing vulnerabilities, or interfering with the security or operation of the Service;
  • Scraping or bulk-extracting data from the Service without permission.

5. AI assistant

Paid plans include an AI assistant that answers questions about using the Service. AI-generated responses may be inaccurate or incomplete and are provided for general guidance only — verify important information before acting on it. You are responsible for the prompts you submit and how you use the assistant's output, and you must not use it to generate illegal, harmful, or infringing content. We may filter prompts or outputs and suspend access for abuse of this feature.

6. Intellectual property

We retain all ownership of the Service and its intellectual property, including the software, documentation, and Qartalog branding. Nothing in these Terms transfers any of our IP to you, or your IP to us, except the limited licences described above.

7. Payments, billing, and refunds

Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns.

Payment, billing, tax, cancellation, and refund mechanics are governed by Paddle's Buyer Terms. Subscriptions renew automatically at the interval you selected (monthly or annually) until cancelled. You can cancel at any time from the Billing section of your dashboard; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. Our refund terms are set out in our Refund Policy.

8. Service availability

We work hard to keep Qartalog available, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free performance. The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", and we disclaim all implied warranties (including merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose) to the fullest extent permitted by law.

9. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service if you materially breach these Terms, fail to pay amounts due, create a security or fraud risk, or repeatedly or seriously violate our acceptable-use rules. You may close your account at any time. When your access ends, your catalogs go offline; we may retain or delete your data as described in our Privacy Policy.

10. Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, consequential, or special damages (including loss of profits, data, or goodwill) arising from your use of the Service. Our aggregate liability to you is capped at the fees you paid us in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability for fraud, death, or personal injury where the law does not allow it.

11. General

We may update these Terms from time to time and will post the current version on this page; continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance. You may not assign these Terms without our consent; we may assign them in connection with a merger or acquisition. Neither party is liable for delays caused by events beyond its reasonable control. If any part of these Terms is unenforceable, the rest remains in effect.
